An extremely athletic player who can run the court well, Joao has been a proven scorer for the past 3 seasons.Joao was born in Fogo, Cape Verde on May 2, 1985. He is a Portuguese player, several times selected to play with the National Team. His last appearance was in Madrid, Spain to play the EuroBasket 2007 with Portugal. He played in Portugal before starting his career in Spain where he is currently playing. He signed to play for Leche Rio Breogan for the 2008-09 season. He is considered a NBA prospect.
