Bio:

Kaspars was born in Ogre, Latvia on August 25, 1985.
He started his professional basketball career in 2003 with BK Skonto. One year after, he signed for Unicaja de Malaga one of the best teams in the Spanish League. For the 2005-2006 season he returned to Latvia to play for the CC Riga, the fallowing season the team became FIBA’s European Cup Champions.

Kaspars played with the Latvia Youth National Team at all ages. He played the U-16, U18, and U-20 championship. On 2007 he became a member of the Latvia Senior National Team.
