Marcus possesses great point guard skills and is a very creative player. He has excellent vision and passing skills and can execute an offense efficiently. He is a good leader on the court and has the ability to create his own shots.

Williams was born December 3, 1985 to parents Kelly and Michele Williams. He competed as a member of the 2005 USA Men’s U21 World Championship Team in summer 2005. He led the squad in minutes (20.4 mpg), averaging 4.1 points and 4.1 assists in eight games.Marcus Williams was selected by the New Jersey Nets as the 22 nd overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft. Marcus brings his tremendous court vision, excellent passing skills and his ability to hit clutch shots to a team in desperate need of depth in the back court.
