Davon Jefferson claims EuroChallenge weekly honour!
RUSSIA: “American Davon Jefferson (204-F-86) had an amazing evening in the last round for league’s second-best Triumph and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6 (Top 16).
The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 28 points and ten rebounds, while his team crushed Antwerp (#4, 2-4) with 19-point margin 79-60. Triumph maintains the 2nd position in EuroChallenge group L. Triumph is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 3rd lost game this season out of 6 games. Jefferson turned to be Triumph’s top player in his first season with the team. Davon Jefferson averages this season 15.3ppg and 7.6rpg.”
