Lokomotiv, the reigning Eurocup champion and a Euroleague newcomer, won with last-second shots, a comeback and a blowout to survive a truly special month. Its main pillar in this amazing run has been power forward Derrick Brown, Euroleague Basketball’s choice as bwin MVP for November. Brown was his team’s leading scorer in three of those four wins, while also taking care of business on defense as Lokomotiv’s second-best performer in rebounds, steals and blocks. He finished as the Euroleague’s fourth-best scorer in November, with 18 points per game, but credits his teammates and club for his recent success, as he told us in this Euroleague.net interview. “I have the organization behind me, which has helped me to adapt, just like some of my teammates.
