Alessandro Gentile was traded to Houston Rockets by the Minnesota Ts who picked him as the 53rd pick in the last night’s 2014 NBA draft.

Gentile is an Italian small-forward, that plays for Milano in the Italian League. He is a very complete player, able to attack the basket, pass, and has the size to defend. Gentile has spent five seasons in the Italian Serie A League, starting his career there at age 18. He became the youngest player in the Italian League playoff history to score at least 20 points per game in 2008-09 season as an 18-year-old. Gentile is also a member of the Italian national team.

This season, he has been an important part of the team, as well as the team captain, being only 21 years old. He hadan outstanding season, playing the Italian League and Euroleague, averaging 12.0 ppg, 3.7 rpb, 2.7 apg in Italian League, and 11.4 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 2.4 apg in Euroleague.
