Doncic, who only turned 16 in February and was two years younger than many of the players he competed against, played a huge role in Madrid beating defending champion Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade in the final. He collected 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists in the 73-70 win over Crvena Zvezda. For the ANGT Finals, Doncic was second on Madrid in scoring with 11.5 points per game, third in the event in rebounds with 9.0 per game and third with 5.8 assists per game.”
