ITALY:”Acqua Vitasnella Cantu (Serie A) strengthened their roster with addition of 32-year old Croatian ex-international point guard Roko-Leni Ukic (196-PG-84). He supposed to play at Openjobmetis Varese in Italian Serie A. In 9 games he recorded 12.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 5.6apg this season. Ukic also played 4 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 11.8ppg, 1.5rpg and 5.8apg. He also spent pre-season at KK Split (A1) in Croatian league earlier that year. The last season Ukic played at Cedevita (A1) in Croatian league. The team played in four different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 16 A1 games he averaged 9.6ppg, 2.3rpg and 5.8apg. He helped them to win the league title. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Croatian A1 League 1st Team and to the All-Star Game. Ukic also played 8 games in Euroleague where he averaged 10.1ppg, 2.0rpg and 4.9apg (top 2). He also played 5 games in Eurocup where he averaged 6.4ppg, 1.8rpg and 4.6apg.
